Accompanied by three highly talented bluesmen from the New Hampshire area, Kid Pinky and his Restless Knights are a throwback to a  more simple, yet nasty, kind of blues.  Engaging personalities and comfortable volume levels always make the show FUN, creating an intimacy that makes you feel as though you are experiencing a private performance in your own living room.

Knight Knotes

12/2411

Happy holidays.  Hope you have had a wonderful year, and that 2012 looks prosperous.  Though I have much to be grateful for, work for the band  does not contribute.  I recall the line of the great bluesman T Bone Walker, “jobs is slow, you know the hustle is really on.”   It is an effort to remain upbeat in light of this local musical landscape– the Knights like to work, and alas, we have very little. That being said, we are very excited for the upcoming jobs we do have.  Back at Okemo in the Sit-n-Bull lounge on 12/26, where we are always treated graciously and enthusiastically.  Rick Doyle promised us another date before the ski season is over so stay tuned.  We can’t wait for our Beat the Winter Blues Party at the Chelmsford Public Library on 2/3.  275 people all getting together to listen to the blues to beat the blues.  Sounds like a ball– get your tickets now, just follow the link.  And back to Sunapee on 3/12 where we look forward to playing après ski all year long.
