Blues that’ll knock you out!

Kid Pinky and His Restless Knights is a dynamic and highly entertaining four piece blues band embodying a retro style that is at the same time authentic,  refreshing, and exciting, without being loud.   The band presents a new format for lead vocalist, harpist, and piano man Pinky, who was the founder and leader of The Movers, the 1995 International Blues Competition winner in Memphis, TN.

Accompanied by three highly talented bluesmen from the Concord, NH area, Kid Pinky and his Restless Knights are a throwback to a more pure and simple, yet more nasty, kind of blues.  And the show is FUN– with both engaging personalities and comfortable volume levels, Pinky and the Knights always make you feel like you are experiencing a private performance in your own living room.

Don’t delay– come on in and check out the hottest new, old-sounding blues band in New England.  Kid Pinky and his Restless Knights– blues that will knock you out!

The pics are in from the broad-                           cast from WTPL 107.7, The                           Pulse, on Friday, 4/26.  Peter St. James and Ken Cail were, as usual, very fun and most hospitable.  We absolutely overran Ken’s studio, but he was as gracious as could be.  They gave us a beautiful 8 to 9AM spot, during which we played bumper music, full tunes, and of course, exchanged banter with Peter, who makes it all very easy.  Bustoff was in the studio with us, and I thought he really captured the spirit of the hour.  Hope you think so....

We make our debut at EF Lane in Keene on March 10. The club is new and is trying to carry on in the great tradition of blues from the Rynborn days.  Come on out and support, and if it’s too far to travel, call everyone you know in the Keene areaMe and the Knights need the work, and EF Lane needs the business...
