Shirley Lewis replaces Marie and the band becomes Shirley Lewis and the Movers |

Lance McCollum replaces Shirley. Band becomes The Movers |

Danny Vitale joins The Movers, who now have three horns called The Smoking Section |

The Movers release their first CD, Love My Baby, win the Harper’s Ferry Battle of the Blues Bands in Boston, and then the International Blues Competition in Memphis |

The Movers perform on the Ultimate Rhythm and Blues Cruise, alongside Taj Mahal, Koko Taylor, James Harmon, Jimmy Thackery, and Lonnie Brooks. Later release On the Move |

The Movers open at the WC Handy Awards, and later host a jam at BB King’s in Memphis |
|
Barrence Whitfield fronts the band, and it releases its last CD, Your Move |
|
Rumboogie is formed and lasts six years, during which time three CDs are released– Cold Love, The Simple Things, and Love Across the Room |

Pinky forms Kid Pinky and his Restless Knights, and soon thereafter releases its first CD, Blues That’ll Knock You Out. The course of music history has been forever changed– check it out. |
